Hello and a big, warm welcome to the Gluten Free Vegan Pantry! My name is Savanna and that handsome fellow there is my husband, Salar. We’re so excited that you’ve decided to stop by and check out our little blog.
Savanna is the recipe mastermind behind Gluten Free Vegan Pantry. She also takes the photos and writes the content that goes along with the delicious recipes that you’ll find here on our blog. She loves dark chocolate, Netflix binges, all things dessert and a warm cup of tea.
Salar is the occasional guest blogger, soup aficionado and head taste-tester in our home. He is also Gluten Free Vegan Pantry’s number one fan. He loves woodworking, pizza, playing with our dogs and nerdy YouTube videos.
This blog is our journey of living adventurously in the kitchen, trialing gluten free, vegan, whole food recipes that you and your entire family can enjoy. New to the realm of gluten free and vegan foods, we hope to bring some inspiration to your screen with simple and delicious recipes that will leave you feeling satisfied, great about yourself and maybe even craving a second helping.
After dabbling in vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free diets for the last few years, we’ve definitely noticed how great one’s body can feel after a healthy dose of real food. We also have several close friends and family members who have dietary restrictions due to food allergies and have always considered it my personal challenge to prepare delicious dishes that they can enjoy easily and without consequence. While our diet at home is not always 100% vegan and gluten free, our hope is that documenting our own journey will help to inspire you, and even support you, on your own. Whether our recipes are a home-run or a work in progress, we promise to take you along on this whole journey, through all the trial and error, so that we can all come out victorious and satiated on the other side.
We hope that you’ll enjoy tagging along with us on this new adventure – we can’t wait to share all of our ideas with each of you and look forward to your feedback along the way. We’d love to hear from you – whether it’s a recipe idea, a quick ‘hello’, a personal twist on a recipe you may find here or something that you would love to see on the blog. Feel free to leave a note in the comments of your favourite recipe or check out our contact page!
